DESCRIPTION COPACABANA FULL DAY
Copacabana is home to the highest navigable lake in the world. It is located 150 km from La Paz, at 3841 meters above sea level, on the shores of Lake Titicaca, it is an important tourist center.
The trip from La Paz lasts approximately 4 hours, along the way we will be able to visit the Strait of Tiquina. From this point we will board a boat to cross the lake.
Once we have crossed the lake, we will have to take the bus again to continue the route to Copacabana.
This city is known for its customs and traditions, its main square has a beautiful basilica. Its architecture is a mix of baroque and Renaissance styles.
Its beach is one of the highest in the world, it is one of the most popular places for those who prefer water games.
Another important place is El Calvario, a very visited attraction, since it has a series of crosses along the road and represent the 14 stations that Jesus traveled through. From its top it offers views of the city, its beaches and Lake Titicaca itself.
