Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I need any special equipment?
We recommend bringing warm clothing (including gloves and a hat), sunglasses, sunscreen, a sunhat, a small daypack, local cash for extra expenses and entrance fees not included, comfortable walking shoes, and a travel blanket for cold nights. A swimsuit if you want to enjoy the hot springs. - How difficult is the tour due to altitude?
The altitude can affect some people. We recommend acclimating in Uyuni or a city with similar elevation before the tour. Drinking plenty of water, avoiding heavy meals and alcohol can help. The guide will carry a first-aid kit and oxygen if needed.
