Detailed Itinerary – Rurrenabaque & Madidi National Park (2 Days)
Departure by Boat from Rurrenabaque
Boat trip up the Beni and Tuichi rivers. The journey takes approximately 3 hours.
Flora and Fauna Observation
During the boat trip, there will be opportunities to observe the riverside flora and fauna, with strategic stops.
Arrival at the Ecolodge and Accommodation
Arrival at the Ecolodge and settling into your traditional Amazonian-style cabin with a private bathroom.
Lunch
1:00 PM, lunch at the Ecolodge.
Hike on "Poroto Waiq'u" Trail
After a short rest, you will start a 3-hour guided hike on the Poroto Waiq'u Trail, where with a bit of luck you might see capuchin monkeys and star-patterned quail.
Dinner
We will enjoy a comforting dinner at the ecolodge.
Breakfast
Breakfast at the Ecolodge to start the day with energy.
Hike to "Wabudajaida" and Pishaki Viewpoint
8:00 AM, a hike of approximately 40 minutes begins to the "Wabudajaida" stream. Along the hike, you will have the opportunity to see birds at the Pishaki viewpoint and enjoy a spectacular view.
Natural Waterfall and Pool
Afterward, you will arrive at a natural waterfall where you can enjoy a swim in a pool of crystal-clear water in the middle of the jungle.
Lunch and Rest
Lunch and a short rest at the Ecolodge.
Return to Rurrenabaque
Start of the return boat trip to Rurrenabaque.
End of Tour
