Frequently Asked Questions
- How impressive is the starry sky in the Salar de Uyuni?
The night sky in the Salar de Uyuni is considered one of the most spectacular in the world due to the altitude, clean atmosphere, and lack of light pollution. Prepare to see thousands of stars and the Milky Way with astonishing clarity! - Do professional photographs have any additional cost?
No, professional photographs captured during the tour are included in the price. They will be provided to you digitally after the tour. - What kind of "light play" is used?
We use portable lights of different colors to illuminate the salt flat and create interesting visual effects for photographs, highlighting the texture of the salt and creating contrasts with the starry sky. - What happens if the weather is not favorable on the night of my tour?
Safety and good visibility are paramount. If weather conditions (rain, heavy cloud cover) prevent good stargazing or make the salt flat unsafe, the tour may be canceled or rescheduled. - Is it very cold on the salt flat at night?
Yes, temperatures on the salt flat, even on summer nights, can drop considerably due to the altitude and the reflective white surface. It is crucial to wear very warm clothing. - Is this tour suitable for children?
The tour takes place at night, and the low temperatures may not be suitable for very young children. Older children who enjoy nature and astronomy might find it fascinating, as long as they are well-wrapped up.
