Detailed Itinerary – Deep Madidi Adventure (4 Days)
Pick-up and Registration
Transfer to the town of San Buenaventura to visit the main office of Madidi National Park and register.
Journey to the Ecolodge
Vehicle trip on the route between San Buenaventura and Tumupasa (up to 3 hours), with strategic stops to appreciate birds and wildlife.
Lunch
We will enjoy a revitalizing lunch upon arrival.
Hike on "Poroto Waiq'u" Trail
After lunch, start a hike on the trail, where with luck you might see capuchin monkeys, tamarins, and star-patterned quail.
Return to the Lodge
Return to the ecolodge for dinner.

Hike on "Sambu" Trail
A 3-4 hour guided hike. Observation of green macaws, solitary eagles, and the possibility of seeing spider monkeys or tapirs.
Wairapata Natural Observatory
Arrival at the observatory to enjoy the panoramic view of the mountain range and the songs of the birds.

We will enjoy lunch at the Ecolodge.
Hike on "Milenario" Trail
You will discover medicinal plants and ancient trees, and the guide will share their knowledge of the jungle and the stories of their ancestors.

Dinner to conclude a day full of discoveries.

Descent via the "Ecological Path" to Yariapo
Descend to the Yariapo stream, where you can enjoy a dip in its fresh waters.
Fauna and Flora Observation in Yariapo

A well-deserved lunch and rest before the safari.
4x4 Safari to "El Parabal"
Venture into the lowlands in 4x4 vehicles. This visit offers greater opportunities to see large mammals, snakes, and a variety of macaws and parrots.

A three-hour hike along the edge of the mountain range. There is a high probability of seeing tapirs or having surprising encounters.

After about 2 hours of hiking, you will see the sacred mountain of Kakiawaka, and the guide will tell you its legend.

Return to Rurrenabaque
Start of the return trip. During the journey, you may encounter migratory birds and the Red-bellied Macaw.
