Frequently Asked Questions
- Is this tour suitable for all ages?
While there is no explicit age restriction, good physical condition is recommended due to the hikes and exposure to tropical weather conditions. - Are jaguar or tapir sightings guaranteed?
Although the itinerary mentions the possibility of seeing jaguars and tapirs—and Madidi is their habitat—wildlife sightings are never guaranteed due to the elusive nature of these animals. The tour maximizes the chances, but luck and environmental conditions play a big role. - Can I swim with pink river dolphins?
Yes, the itinerary includes the opportunity to swim with pink dolphins. However, this depends on the season and river conditions, so it may not always be available. - What should I expect from the night walks?
Night walks (in Madidi) and nighttime boat rides (in the Pampas) provide a different perspective of the jungle and river. They allow for observation of nocturnal animals such as owls, armadillos, caimans, and glowing eyes in the dark. - Is the itinerary flexible?
According to the note, “visitors can suggest certain activities based on their interests” and excursions are “not subject to a fixed schedule.” This indicates some flexibility, but coordination with the guide and agency is essential for safety and feasibility.
