Detailed Itinerary – Madidi & Pampas Adventure (4 Days)
Pick-up and Registration
Pick-up from Rurrenabaque airport (if applicable). Transfer to San Buenaventura to visit the Madidi National Park main office and register.
Journey to the Ecolodge
Vehicle trip (up to 3 hours) on the route between San Buenaventura and Tumupasa, with strategic stops to see birds and fauna.
Lunch
We will enjoy a revitalizing lunch upon arrival at the lodge.
Hike on "Poroto Waiq’u" Trail
After lunch, start a hike to try to see capuchin monkeys, tamarins, and the star-patterned quail.
Dinner
Dinner at the Ecolodge to close the first day of adventure.
Breakfast
We start the day with an energizing breakfast at the ecolodge.
Hike on "Sambu" Trail
A 3-hour guided hike. Observation of military macaws, solitary eagles, and the possibility of seeing spider monkeys and tapirs.
Wairapata Natural Observatory
Enjoy the panoramic view of the Sadiri mountain range and watch birds in flight.
"Milenario" Trail (Optional)
Hike to see rare birds, discover medicinal plants, and listen to the guide's knowledge of the plant life used by the Uchupiamonas.
Wabudajaida Stream and Natural Waterfall
A 40-minute hike to reach the stream and a waterfall. Enjoy a swim in the natural pool in the middle of the jungle.
Transfer to Rurrenabaque
Return to civilization for the next stage of the adventure.
Departure to Santa Rosa
Transfer with observation of heron families, sloths, and lush vegetation along the way.
Motorboat tour on the Yacuma River
Observation and information about the life and species of animals on the Yacuma River.
