Madidi & Pampas: 4 Days of Jungle and Wildlife Encounters

This 4-day adventure combines the best of Bolivia’s two most vibrant ecosystems: the lush Amazon rainforest of Madidi National Park and the flooded savannas of the Pampas de Yacuma. Departing from Rurrenabaque, your journey begins with a jungle immersion in Madidi, where guided hikes reveal a wealth of wildlife and medicinal plants, from monkeys to tapirs, along with cultural insights from the Uchupiamonas Indigenous community. The experience also includes birdwatching and a chance to cool off in natural waterfalls.

The second half of the tour takes you to the Pampas, renowned for its boat safaris along the Yacuma River, where wildlife is abundant and easily visible: from sloths and capybaras to pink dolphins, caimans, lizards, and countless bird species. The journey ends with a nighttime wildlife-watching excursion on a silent boat and an exciting swim with dolphins, offering a complete and diverse experience of Bolivian nature.
