The majestic Huayna Potosí snow-capped peak, rising to 6,088 meters (19,974 ft), is a key landmark of the Royal Andes Range. Locals from the nearby city of El Alto (situated at 4,000–4,100 meters) view this mountain as their guardian and protector, making it the most iconic peak of the city. Huayna Potosí is famous for being one of the world’s most accessible 6,000-meter mountains, climbed by hundreds of tourists over the years. While no previous mountaineering experience is required, having excellent physical fitness is essential to ensure a safe and successful experience. This 3-day tour is carefully designed for gradual acclimatization and technical preparation before the final summit push.
