GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Explore the subtropical valleys of the Yungas and try different types of coffee on this day trip from La Paz. The Coroico region is one of the main areas of coffee plantations in Bolivia and is definitely worth a visit. The transfer to and from La Paz is included in the price.
OVERVIEW
The tour will start at 7:00am when we will go to the city of Corioco. There, we will enjoy its plazas and we will visit a café where we will taste the essence of true Bolivian coffee, accompanied by our guide, who will provide information about the history, the preparation, etc. In the early afternoon, we will go to the coffee plantations where our guide will give you a more detailed explanation about the coffee such as the process of harvesting, grinding, washing, drying, and also about the varieties that exist in the area. Around 4:30pm, you will return to Corioco and you will have time to buy souvenirs before heading back to arrive in La Paz at 8:30pm.
